How do I create a delivery/shipping schedule?

Scheduling is initially set to apply globally. In this default setting, you can define how many orders you can process each day, specify which days you are open, and set operating hours on a daily basis. If you require a more customized approach, you can utilize the custom calendar, which allows you to create unique events that override the global settings.


Global Calendar:

  • The Global Calendar represents a standard week (Monday through Friday). You can adjust the hours of operation and order processing capacity on specific days. Adjustments made here will apply consistently throughout the calendar year.


Custom Calendar:

  • The Custom Calendar allows you to override any of the default values in the global settings by creating a new event. This event can be for a specific date or a range of dates, making it useful for holidays or unexpected changes in your schedule. Use this feature to tailor your delivery operations more precisely to your business needs.


Important Note on Shipping Calendar Settings

The shipping calendar is unique for each shipping option, allowing you to tailor settings individually for local delivery, local pickup, and standard shipping. This flexibility ensures that each shipping method can be optimized according to specific operational needs and customer preferences.
