Lead Times

Lead time refers to the delay between when a customer places an order and when it becomes available for shipping. If a product has a lead time, this duration is added to the checkout time, automatically adjusting the next available shipping time to account for this delay.

Lead times are managed through product tags. On the settings page, you can create a tag that specifies the number of hours needed to fulfill any product associated with that tag. This system ensures that the appropriate lead times are applied during customer checkout, streamlining the process for both you and your customers.
